Frequently Asked Questions
Where exactly will the performance be held?
Our performance will take place in the park on the northern side of the Wyreena Arts Community Arts Centre complex. The best entrance is the Beryl Street entrance.
Can I get tickets at the venue?
Yes, unless sold out, tickets will be available at the venue, but we advise pre-booking via the link on our website to avoid missing out. Ticket payment at the venue will be accepted by card only.
Where can I park?
The best parking is in the car park at Wyreena itself. This car park can be accessed from either side of the park - from the Beryl Street entrance, or the Hull Road entrance. There is also parking in the surrounding streets. Please be mindful of our lovely neighbours when walking to and from your car.
Will there be accessible parking available?
There is accessible parking at Wyreena, however to be closest to our performance space, you should aim to arrive early and park near the Beryl St entrance, which has one step up from car park to audience level. If you require flat level access, there is limited parking in Worrall St, however as this is a public street, car parks here cannot be reserved. Passengers requiring easy access can be dropped off via the driveway off Worrall St.
Is the show kid friendly?
Absolutely! This is a show for the whole family. There are funny fairies, manic mechanicals and lively lovers - the show is pure fun, with no scary bits at all.
How long does the show go for?
The show is approximately 90 minutes long, with no interval.
What time should I arrive?
The performance will begin at 6:30pm. Our audience space opens at 5:30pm, so you’re welcome to come a little early to enjoy a picnic and relax in the park.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes! This is a BYO event, so bring all the fairy treats your heart desires! Don’t forget a picnic blanket!
Will there be food available for purchase?
There will be no food available for purchase, so please make sure to bring your own fairy snacks.
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes, over 18s are able to bring and consume their own alcohol responsibly.
What will I do with my rubbish?
There are limited rubbish collection facilities on site, so we encourage you to bring your own rubbish bag, and help us keep the beautiful grounds clean by taking your rubbish and recycling with you.
What is the seating like?
Seating is unreserved picnic-style, and you will be guided to an appropriate area based on your setup:
Low-to-the-ground chairs, cushions and picnic blankets are welcome at the front
Higher camping/director’s chairs must be positioned further back to maintain clear sightlines.
We recommend coordinating arrival if you are coming in a group so you can all sit together.

What if I need to sit in a chair?
We know that sitting on the ground is not for everyone! If you need to bring a chair, just know that you’ll need to be a little further back, so everyone can see.
Will any chairs be provided?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide chairs. So get out that camp chair (if you need one) or dig out your picnic blanket and come and join us.
Will there be toilet facilities?
Of course - there will be clear signs and fairy helpers to point you in the right direction
What happens if the weather is bad?
In the event of severe heat, rain or thunderstorms, we will contact ticket holders regarding cancellation.
Can I bring my dog…or pet iguana?
As much as we love all animals, for the comfort of the audience and actors, we ask that you leave your pets at home. (Assistance animals excepted)
Can I record the performance or take photos?
Photography and recording are not permitted, but we encourage you to share the Heartsleeve Creatives social media posts on your own pages.
